13/11/09 - 2 new sims with 1 more to come next weekend. Heres Madrigals own words...
"On 6th November 1999, I released "Motor Cross Simulator", my very first
handheld simulator. Today, 6th November 2009, i'm releasing my 49th videogame to celebrate 10 years of LCD simulations action :-)"
My congrats go out to Madrigal for his huge number of sim releases and for STILL making these games 10 years on. Madrigals sims are always amongst the best out there, so keep em coming pal :)
The first new game is Frog Boaster (Elektronika) v1.00. This game is a Russian clone of the world famous "Egg" and "Mickey Mouse" by Nintendo. After this initial release, MADrigal confirmed 2 more games for release on the 13th and 20th November. Well, todays the day for that 2nd release and i now know its "Escape" a VTech time and fun game. Both these games are available HERE and Escape is a must try game!
All being well, i'll post news about his 3rd new release on or soon after the 20th. Enjoy.
22/09/09 - Just 1 new game to add today, a rather obscure original game called UFO by a company called PiraTOY. Theodosis was kind enough to inform me about this a short while back and now its finished and ready to share. He's named his remake Spaceball and you can find it (amongst the previous new updates) right HERE. Oh, its for java enabled mobile phones and a readme is included in the archive.
06/08/09 - Been a while since i updated so theres quite a few to list here. Mostly this is a cleanup update with some manuals re-added to zips, a couple of zips rebuilt due to errors and some new versions of existing games. There are 3 new additions though, with 2 of those being available on the online page. Find them all by using THIS LINK.

NEW ADDITION + ADDED ONLINE - Vermin by Andy Cole v1.0
REZIPPED - Baseball by Sam Heald v1.1
REZIPPED - Donkey Kong by Aaron Ardiri v1.3.1
04/05/09 - Adam has updated his GodOfWar sim to v1.01 as it included a nasty bug. Grab the latest version from HERE.
02/05/09 - So i emailed Aaron. I thought i'd let him know that i added some news here for him and its led to us talking quite a bit today. Our discussions have led to 1 new addition, namely Kanga.Ru by SoftAva (a take on Nintendo's Egg handheld), hurrah. Unfortunately the talks have also led to me removing 1 sim of Aarons as its not actually based on the Mario Bros g&w but rather the arcade version. So thats Aarons Maryo Bros thats been removed. May be more news soon.
01/05/09 - Another new sim from Adam Holmes today, this time based on Vermin from Nintendo but themed on God Of War. This will be the first version of Vermin in the archive, which is nice. To view details on this and his other sim (based on Helmet) check out his site holmadegames.com. The new game is included here in the archive and as its built in Flash its available to play online too. Thanks Adam.
In other news today, Aaron Ardiri of Mobile1Up has received a Cease and Desist from Nintendo for his 6 iPhone G&W clones. They are currently in the process of being removed from Apples app store (if not already gone, i must check) so if you want them, get running. I'm glad i jumped in and got all 6 when i did. Instead, he is working on revamped versions that don't infringe copyright and the first 2 are already available. A third is almost ready and a further 3 are in development. Check out the Mobile1Up site for all the details.
05/03/09 - A new archive addition today courtesy of Adam Holmes of holmadegames.com. He has recently converted his flash based game Dodgeman into a Nintendo style LCD game (also in flash) and its absolutely perfect for it. You could think it was based on a real game. I've added it to the archive with an original name of "Helmet" as its very close to that game. If you go to the archive entry, due to it being a SWF file, you'll also find the link to the online playable version too. Of course you could always visit Adams site to play it too. Thanks Adam.
25/02/09 - No new additions today i'm afraid, even though its been a while, but i simply had to mention this news right away. This months Retro Gamer magazine plopped onto my doormat this morning and while flicking through it i saw some interesting news about Aaron Ardiri's current exploits (i have a few of his sims here already). Seems he's created (or he's a part of) a new mobile gaming company (called Mobile1Up) and his handheld remakes are now floating around on iTunes garnering some very nice reviews. If you have an iPod touch or iPhone/3G then you just can't go wrong. GW Helmet will start you off, that ones free !! The others will currently set you back £1.19 each, with Chef, Fire, Egg, Octopus and Parachute all faithfully recreated for your LCD playing pleasure. Octopus is my favourite :) I didn't hesitate to buy all 5 of them and you shouldn't either, because who knows wether Nintendo will come knocking on Aarons door. GW Greenhouse is marked as "coming soon" on his new site which you can visit for more complete news and info if you click right HERE.
01/11/08 - 5 new files added to the archive today. Madrigal updated his Parachute sim to v1.03, i've added a GP2X version of the Joyriders Formula 1 game, theres a new russian version of Nu Pagadi (thats Egg to us) which is also playable online and theres a new 6 in 1 Multi-game added simply called "Game And Watch". Game And Watch comes as Win32 and GP2X versions and currently simulates Condor, Defendo, Monkey, Pancake, Pirate and Roller Coaster. All binaries and a link to the online one can be found HERE.
14/08/08 - I've now updated the header on each page to include a home button, an online button and a "new" button in the A-Z part. The online page now includes the header too but if you scroll to the bottom you will see a new Sony PSP platform game inspired by Game&Watch. Made and listed with thanks to Mia, the author. Enjoy.
12/08/08 - You know, the database here i can handle, editing the pages i can do and of course adding games and news i can do. But when it comes to querying the database with php shenanigans, thats where i go running to AndyH of
Tonight i posed my problem and within a few minutes i had a new database query possible. Future updates will now likely only require me to give you 1 link. e.g. Enjoy. :)
10/08/08 - 2 updates in one month... Whats going on !! Well, its just a small one this time :)
I really should have checked first but the Shrinefield Speak & Spell game (and manual) was updated between me last d/loading it and doing the previous update. Its now up to v3.00e.
And another system is now supported. Ye olde Vic20 gets a very nice sim of Parachute by Glen Richards. Its highly possible that Mario Bros (or some other) sim will come from him too. I do hope so :)
05/08/08 - Well about time too !! As i'm off for the summer hols (cos i work in a school), i have no excuse not to update the site. So here comes a long overdue and pretty chunky update. This lot pretty much catches me up too, so you lot better start letting me know about new or updated projects :) Ok, we'll go alphabetically this time i think...
Asteroid Field by Blue Protoman. Seems he wasn't happy sending links to other peoples games, he's now having a shot at sim creation himself. I'm almost certain he sent me a second game too but i seem to have lost it. Can you email me Blue ?
Baseball by Sam Heald. 5 versions for the Ti platform, from the Ti82 up to the Ti86. I've never played any of the Ti games i've got listed here so maybe one of you could let me know if they work :) ?
Egg by Petar Drankarov. Another Ti game, this one for the Ti89.
Manhole by David Munoz. And yet another Ti game. Are these palm thingies quite popular then...
Manhole by KZ-S. A shiny NES version of Nintendos Manhole. Check it out.
Merlin by Brendan Bellina. Brendan has compiled 3 versions of his Merlin sim covering the Apple II GS, the Mac and one thats listed as a "Yahoo Widget" whatever the hell that is. Another one someone could explain to me ? The Apple II version means its one more platform supported. Nice to find clones for more varied machines. Apple is added to the advanced search page :)
Parachute by Hellviz. A new one for the PSP !! Excellent, thats another platform added to the list. Again, can anyone confirm if it works, if its good etc ? Ta.
Popeye by Willi Fried. A good old Windows clone of the Panorama version. Enjoy.
Speak & Spell from Shrine Field sees another update. Now up to 2.87e.
Trojan Horse by Jonathan Conrad. 3 variants covering Windows, NDS and Mac OSX.
Turtle Bridge by Gernot Frisch. Listed here for completeness, he tells me its VERY unfinished. Pester him to finish it :)
Nice little update i think. 2 more platforms now covered and the file archive went over 300. 306 in fact !!
EDIT// I have been thinking about this for a long time now, and today, with a little help from StuC (many thanks) i've added a new column to the database so that i can mark all the new additions with an image.
See the GAMESLIST for what i have done :) Hope it makes it easier to find the new things.
26/04/08 - Small update today, still plenty in a queue. 3 of Andy Coles flash games have been added to the archive AND the Online page. Look for Fire, Judge (small update) and Flagman.
23/03/08 - 5 new games added today thanks to an email from "Blue Protoman". 2 are windows games that he wrote himself based on Ball and Fire. The other 3 are various games he's found round the web. They are Bombsweeper by Matt PW, LCD Game by Rafael Vuijk and LED Sports by Kurt W Dekker. More to come soon.
13/02/08 - Just a quick update today to add a new game that really should have been added long ago. I only just found out about it though so i should be forgiven? Drew Turpin (Digital Invaders, MG-880 game) has mentioned an older project which is also based on the old Casio calculator but has a mix of Taito's space invaders and some tweaks thrown in too. Its called Space Invaders Digital and is pretty cool.
09/02/08 - First update in 2008, yay. Straight to it then as i'm already late posting these :)
Theres 2 new ones from Madrigal, they are...
Hot Line (VTech, Tooth-Sporty Time & Fun) S4/1.00 (Standard 4, final)
Engine Room (VTech, Explorer Time & Fun) Simulator, version S4/1.00 FINAL
Then theres a load that have been updated, namely...

Sleep Walker (VTech, Time & Fun) S4/1.01 (Standard 4, graphics improvement + hiscore save fix)

31/12/07 - So heres the final update for 2007. Lets hope 2008 brings as many new sims as 2007 did !!
The first game here is all new from Madrigal once again...
Tennis Menace (VTech, Tooth-Sporty Time & Fun) S4/1.00 (Standard 4, final)
And these next 4 are small updates, mostly hiscore save fixes...
Parachute (Nintendo, Wide Screen) S4/1.02 (Standard 4, graphics improvement + hiscore save fix)
Roller Coaster (VTech, Explorer Time & Fun) S4/1.01 (Standard 4, hiscore save fix)
Pancake (VTech, Explorer Time & Fun) S4/1.01 (Standard 4, hiscore save fix)
Condor (VTech, Explorer Time & Fun) S4/1.01 (Standard 4, hiscore save fix)
24/12/07 - Heres Madrigals next 2 simulators for you, like a shiney new christmas present :)
Defendo (VTech, Explorer Time & Fun) S4/1.00 (Standard 4, final)
Monkey (VTech, Time & Fun) S4/1.00 (Standard 4, final)
Defendo is Madrigals 45th simulator release and his sims now account for almost 20% of my entire archive. I'm not complaining of course as Madrigals have always been top quality and amongst the best available. Keep em coming Madrigal !!
14/12/07 - More apologies to Madrigal. He always keeps me informed and i seem to be dragging my heels more and more lately. Anyway, heres ALL the latest stuff...
First i should mention his standard 4... actually no, here it is in Madrigals own words...
"What really changes this time is the "standard" (which I call "standard 4") that is: very realistic 8-bit colour sprites for the LCD screen; clean graphics and animated buttons for the actual handheld; manual embedded in the main executable; compiled with Delphi 6; and more optimizations to all game routines. The resulting applications require some more RAM than previous games, but quality is much better."
His latest sims, or updates to sims, are often now including full MAME cabinet support too.
Now, the news catch up (including a couple i missed way back from September, oops)
sept 17th 2007 - Donkey Angler (Gakken, LCD Card Game) S3/1.04 (Standard 3, manual added)
sept 17th 2007 - Hippo Teeth (VTech, Tooth-Sporty Time & Fun) S3/1.01 (Standard 3, minor graphics additions)
nov 12th 2007 - Parachute (Nintendo, Wide Screen) S4/1.01 (Standard 4, MAME cabinets compatible)
nov 12th 2007 - Mickey Mouse (Nintendo, Panorama Screen) S4/1.01 (Standard 4, MAME cabinets compatible)
nov 12th 2007 - Heathcliff (VTech/Polistil, Mini Time & Fun) S3/1.02 (Standard 3, manual added)
The following releases are all brand new !!
nov 12th 2007 - Sleep Walker (VTech, Time & Fun) S4/1.00 (Standard 4, final)
nov 19th 2007 - Roller Coaster (VTech, Explorer Time & Fun) S4/1.00 (Standard 4, final)
nov 26th 2007 - Pancake (VTech, Time & Fun) S4/1.00 (Standard 4, final)
dec 3rd 2007 - Condor (VTech, Time & Fun) S4/1.00 (Standard 4, final)
dec 10th 2007 - Pirate (VTech, Time & Fun) S4/1.00 (Standard 4, final)
Quite a list and theres more to come from Madrigal very soon !!
03/11/07 - My apologies first to Madrigal for being so slow with this news update. He's sent 2 bits of news, 1 of those almost 3 weeks ago !! Sorry :(
Ok, so it seems Madrigal has decided that he is gonna go full swing into his sims again and that can only be a good thing for all fans of these beauties. Madrigals have always had the most polish and exactness of any out there.
First he told me about Mickey Mouse, using a new standard, with integrated manual, better graphics and more optimisations. S4/1.00 is ready to rock.
Next, just 2 weeks later, he told me about Parachute S4/1.00. Again, this uses his own new standard, but for the first time ever with one of his sims, it includes the source code. I really hope that coders can be inspired by the source and may start learning from it, or adapting it to create more of the missing sims. Be nice to see a full Nintendo set at least :)
Drew Turpin emailed me too, to tell me that his Casio Invaders simulator has been greatly improved. Now with cleaner sound, correct number of invaders and missiles, correct scoring, better mg-880 image (he owns one now with a manual, which helped greatly with these updates) and animated buttons. v1.1 is ready to go. Thanks for the mail Drew.
03/09/07 - Madrigal has done it !! Finally, the pestering and emails from many fans has payed off and Galaxy II aka Astro Wars is complete and ready to leech from either his site or in this archive. Hurrah :) I'm sure this is great news for many simulator fans as this was one of the best known and loved handheld games of the 80's. Great job MADrigal !!
On top of this news the previous 8 sims mentioned in the last news item have all also had a small update of a newer FAQ and documentation. The games remain unchanged this time round so you only need these if you are a 100% sim collector.
And still theres more. 3 new updates from MADrigal are now ready to go. Grab Man (Texet), Tom & Jerry Popper
(Gakken) and Donkey Angler (Gakken) have all seen some minor fixes.
Finally, MADrigal has told me of his current immediate plans. He's got a couple more fixed sims to release very very soon and he's already underway with 2 all new simulators. One of those being "Parachute" which i think is very well known. He doesn't yet know when they'll be ready though but he's certainly got the sim coding buzz again.
07/08/07 - Madrigal has nudged me today to tell me that 8 of his sims have seen some fixes and additions. The issues fixed are mostly with displaying BMP images on newer video cards, some sound upgrades and a couple of splash screen updates. Use the "Advanced Search" page and look up "Madrigal" in the author list. The updated games are Tron, Motor Cross, Monkey Jump, Heathcliff & Sonja, Donkey Kong Circus, Mario's Bombs Away, Snoopy (the panorama version) and Snoopy (the tabletop version). Nice to see you still at it Madrigal :)
Madrigal also let me know theres some news at Julien Foyards site (thanks). I better go check...
Seems Julien has updated all 6 of his sims. Not sure whats new but they are here now to grab. Airport Panic, Amazone, Breakout, Escape From The Devils Doom, Mr Franken and Terror House can all be found by using the "Advanced Search" page again and searching for "julien".
10/06/07 - WOW, cruising now eh !! Today i have 6 more new files and 3 updates. Julien Foyard has updated his Amazone, Escape From The Devils Doom and Terror House simulators and started working on a new one. He'll have the entire solar powered set soon !! The new one from Julien is Breakout. I've also added an addon skin for the recently added Merlin game, a GP2X fake game called River Crossing, another GP2X fake called Game&Watch Volleyball and finally 2 versions of Oil Panic for the NintendoDS of which one is a GBA version. I'm not quite sure how that works but i think its a version that works in a GBA emulator for the DS. Maybe someone could let me know ?
09/06/07 - Better late than never i say. After weeks of putting it off and not "pulling my finger out" i have finally updated the site with 21 new zips. I have all 12 entries from Kojotes PDRoms 3.666 Competition which are all by different authors of course. To find them, use the Advanced Search page and choose Fake as the manufacturer. only 1 will be missing but you can find that one at the bottom of page D. 1 is for the SNES so i've added SNES to the platforms list too. Theres also 2 from his older PDRoms 2.5 Competition which wasn't actually an LCD based compo but did get these 2 LCD style games entered. Beer Belly Bill and Fred Firefighter. Theres 5 new Palm games of which 3 are based on CompIV, an ancient LED based "mastermind" style game and 2 on Merlin a 1978 game from Parker Brothers. I've also added a version of Merlin for the GP2X and a great version of Donkey Kong from Danjo at ACoders. A cracking bunch of games and theres still more pending on my harddrive. Sim count is now 261 too! I wonder if i hit 300 before xmas ?
21/02/07 - Julien Foyard emailed me to let me know he's started a 5th simulator. Upon checking his site i noticed there were actually 3 of his sims i wasn't listing and the 2 that i was were outdated. So, heres the skinny. Airport Panic and Mr Franken have both seen updates from v0.020 to v0.026. The 3 new games added are Escape From The Devils Doom, Amazone and Terror House. All are Bandai dual screen solar powered games. Easiest way to find his games are to use the Advanced Search page and type "Foyard" into the author box. Thanks for the email Julien.
14/01/07 - With thanks to Dr.Nosferatu, i can now list a fully working version of his sim. Bombsweeper is now in the archive to download and included on the Online page. Probably the best version i hold here too so go give it a try.
And Todd Anderson got back to me too with some helpful advice regarding his Donkey Kong Jr sim. Now i've got that one working too, its of course added for you to leech or play Online. Many thanks to both of you.
03/01/07 - So i tried and tried and still could not get that Bombsweeper java version working so as a last attempt i gave up and emailed the author, Dr.Nosferatu (aka Sun Volland - No wonder he uses java with that name). Well, he replied and is going to fix some bugs and make the package workable online. Hurrah :) For now i've added a readme to the archive version and marked the online version as "Out Of Order". So i hope to have a new version for the archive and the online pages very soon. Now, i best get emailing a couple of other authors now, see if i can kickstart them into helping me out :)
01/01/07 - Its 2007, yay !! Thought i'd have a count up around here and i was quite suprised. Theres a whopping 235 files in the archive now with 35 of them being playable online right here !! WOW. This archive has doubled in size over the last 10 months and heres hoping it keeps growing. I'll keep hunting new ones out but it would be great if YOU could email me if you are working on one. Don't hold your breath, but i have 4 more games to add when i can be bothered and all are playable online. I have a couple of others too but i can't get em to work so far... I'll keep trying :)
31/12/06 - And here it is, the last news update of 2006. Lets hope 2007 is a healthier year for Handheld Remakes news. I managed to get many more updates done this time and i've almost caught up with everything now, so here it is. Pigs On Head is a new Flash based fake simulator which you can play online or download from the archive. Its a tough one ! Theres a new version of Egg (aka Nu Pagadi) also on the online page and in the archive and i found a Flash based Speak N Spell sim too. Pretty neat it is, if you can understand the voice !! Theres 3 games that aren't playable online that have gone into the archive here. Namely, Egg (a ZX Spectrum version), Nu Pagadi and Nu Pagadi 3D. Yes, the Nu Pagadi games are also Egg clones. Anyone would think it was easter. Finally there are 2 java based versions of Bombsweeper added. Of course, that means they are playable Online and in the archive for download. Thats it, just leaves me to say "Have a great new year".
30/12/06 - Hurrah for news. The advanced search page has had a new platform added. GP2X. Why ? Cos theres 2 new GP2X based games for you to leech of course. Mario Bros by Zarlok and Fire by Jabberwocky. I haven't played either of them personally but the piccys do look lovely. Theres a new Nintendo DS sim too from Tipiak which is also a Mario Bros remake. Damn theres a lot of Mario Bros sims now !! What else have we got... Well, a sim was updated by Julien Foyard. Mr Franken went from v0.005 to v0.020 and he also released a new one !! Bandai's Airport Panic can also now be found in the archive. Thanks for keeping me informed Julien and sorry to be so slow to add these. Speak & Spell was also updated by Shrine Field and it seems the manual has grown too (so i re-upped that as well). And lastly, but by no means leastly, a new version of Digital Invader has surfaced today by Drew Turpin. Very nice it is too so be sure to try it out... And i have yet more to add !! So expect another little updatey tomorrow all you Tosec creators :)
29/09/06 - Nope, i'm not dead just yet, and i've risen from the ashes to bring you some actual news !! First up is Juliens ongoing remake of Bandais Airport Panic simulator. Not much to see yet and i think its written as an ongoing coding tutorial, but its a project you can keep an eye on now you know about it. Thanks to Julien for sending me the news. Also thanks to Ayden Wolf for this other news about a nice shiney new remake of Mario Bros for the Nintendo DS. It uses both of the DS's screens of course and looks really neat :) You can find the Mario Bros one in the Archive here too of course. Finally for this years (sigh) newsblast is word of an AllInOne package of Redcrabs games. Its not in the archive here as all the games included are already here as single downloads, but hey, you now know where to get the AllInOne if you want it.
12/07/06 - Been a while since i updated this page but thats only due to a lack of new news or additions to the archive. I'd love to bring you news daily but the sim world just isn't that fast. Anyway, this update is to inform you that Redcrab has updated all 4 of his neat little games. He has made 4 sims in his own style based on Fire, Marios Cement Factory, Kitchen and Sleep Walker. Grab em now !!
19/04/06 - Redcrab has released another of his FreeBasic games, this time making a very nice version of Marios Cement Factory entitled "Too Much Cement". Definately one to try !!
14/04/06 - Terrahawks has now hit v1.0 and has been released into the wild. Not only that but there is a MAC port of it too. (i've added MAC to the platforms list.) Search for Bandai or "terra" and you'll find the new versions.
08/04/06 - Just a small update to my collection pics. Scroll to the bottom of the Frontpage to see the thumbs. Then click them for bigger piccies. Nothing much new lately in the way of sims but maybe soon.
18/03/06 - Been a while since the last update but heres a whole heap of new games for you. Firstly, MADrigal has released a proper beta of his Galaxy II simulator so i have officially re-added it again. Level 4 is still missing but whats there so far works great. Secondly, Retro Remakes have had 2 mini competitions that have had a Game&Watch theme. One back in 2004 and one only a week or so ago. The entries from both of those compos have been added to the archive and one of them was even written by me ! Finally theres Redcrabs new sim. He's written a nice little clone of Sleep Walker, an old VTech game. So thats 15 new files for you... Before i sign off once again, the easiest way to find the majority of the RR compo games is to use the advanced search and look for Fakes under the Manufacturer pulldown.
24/02/06 - I've added a rather large set of game&watch parody images now which i recently leeched from SomethingAwful.com. Check out my new Parody pages to view them. Many are animated gifs and some pages can be quite large so expect some loading delays. Also added is a very nice Winamp skin and a Game and Watch inspired mp3 at the bottom of the Online Games page. Enjoy.
23/02/06 - 2 More added today. Kitchen from Masudaya Toys titled "Hurry Chef" by Redcrab and yet another version of Fire (also by Redcrab) which does have a kinda new twist to it. I've also added NES to the advanced search platform pulldown and Masudaya to the Manufacturer pulldown. The online stuff is still on its way... soon...
20/02/06 - 4 more sims added today. 2 Bombsweeper remakes, 1 new Donkey Kong Jr remake and 1 of a new game to the list, "Mr Franken". A new platform is supported now too with the addition of a NES rom. 1 is for Nokia phones and theres 2 more for Windows. And theres still yet more to come, including some online games!
16/02/06 - 1 sim removed by authors request (make an official release please, people want this!!) and 1 more added. Its a GBA version of Galaxy Invader 1000 which looks pretty neat. Theres more to come when i get round to it too.
10/02/06 - Ok, i've fixed a couple of database errors, added 1 more flash game and 1 more Nokia game. Also, the author of a fairly new sim contacted me today to ask me to include his game. Its a remake of "Digital Invader" from Casio called "Digi Invaders" which you can now find in the archive. Thanks to Tony (the author) for letting me know :)
08/02/06 - I just can't stop finding them !! I feel like i've exhausted the internet but i bet theres loads more out there. 18 new games have been added of which 9 are playable on the online page. 3 of the games added to the archive are for Nokia or Siemens mobile phones and 1 game is for Excel. Yes, thats the spreadsheet program in MS Office !! I even have 4 more pending games that i'm struggling to get working. I might dump one and just link to the other 3, time will tell... So, the archive now has 198 different games. Thats 89 more than when this site was last online. Theres now 29 games playable from here whereas before i used to link to about 4 !! A pretty big leap i think you'll agree and i'm well chuffed.
06/02/06 - 5 more flash games are now playable from the online page and they've been added to the archive as downloads too.
06/02/06 - Email link now done and guestbook added if you feel inclined. ACL section completed too, shhhh. Also added a "home" link to the bottom of most pages. Now i'm off for a damn ciggy !!
05/02/06 - All of the game images have now been added along with all the game binaries. You can start downloading now !! The email link is the final thing to sort out and should be done tomorrow morning. The database has been updated with some "playable online" info and when that info is shown its turned into a link to the online games page. Again, this is thanks to Andy of Ovine. There are 15 games playable from the online page, check them out... Be sure to offer some feedback, good or bad, in the Handheld Remakes forum section at the Retro Remakes site. I particularly want to hear if there are any site errors or if you've found a sim i don't have listed here...
04/02/06 - Massive thanks to all those that have helped me bring my handheld archive back to life. From the free hosting courtesy of Retro Remakes to the html and php help gathered from a few people. Thanks to Flynn for resurrecting a long lost java app and helping me make them all work here, and to Andy H of Ovine for the superb mysql query and display code and ongoing help with the css sheet. And anyone else not mentioned. Enjoy the site.
